My name is Joni. I’m 38 years old and a mom of two. I’m a competitive amateur athlete, a two time qualifier for the Boston Marathon (completing the race in 2017) and currently training for my first triathlon. I spend anywhere from 10-15 hours per week working out. When I’m not training, I’m coaching beginning marathoners, homeschooling my kiddos or running a small community cemetery near my childhood home. Needless to say, I don’t have much free time.
My life is crazy, y’all and maintaining these commitments is difficult if my personal life is a mess.
Enter organization. I have a plan for everything: my schedule, my routines, my workouts, my meals, my time and my stuff. By using my time wisely, cleaning out the clutter (both physical and mental) and implementing routine I make sure that my hectic schedule doesn’t get the best of me.
Being organized is a lifestyle, not just something you do to a closet.
We can all benefit from a little organization. We get caught up in our lives and forget to take care of ourselves first. It’s time for that to change. Let’s spend some time working on ourselves – organizing our stuff and planning our days to make the most of our limited time. Let’s make life less stressful so that the stuff that should be easy is, and save our brain power for the hard stuff. 🙂
I hope you’ll join me on this journey and check back often!
